The Ground

No-one is quite sure when the club moved to the present site but what we do know is that it is a lovely spot to play and watch cricket. It is also, thanks to the English brothers' hard work, a superb wicket. Everlasting thanks to Noddy, Fred and Trevor - our new groundsman - for their continued hard work.

Pavilion and score box

Although our clubhouse is small we do have a fully licensed bar serving local real ale, a plentiful supply of hot water and a new children's play area right behind it. There is also ample car parking, although you should be aware that the car park is next to the boundary (and occasionally accidents do happen).

Looking towards the Hall End

We also have an artifical strip which, thanks to the Lord's Taverners, has been completely replaced in 2011, and which allows some sort of game to go ahead in wet weather. Thanks to Craig Neave for his hard work in making this possible.

We are always looking for new players. If you are over 40, highly-sociable, love cricket (and are of a poor-to-reasonable standard), have a sense of humour, like a drink in moderation and don't take yourself at all seriously, why not drop us an email.
